A 72-year-old retiree offers to look after her friends’ dogs, she empties their bank account

The suspect, summoned and placed in custody by investigators from the Versailles judicial police, faced a careful search in her apartment in Chesnay-Rocquencourt, on the outskirts of the royal city. The police discovered a veritable collection there: jewelry, gold coins, wads of notes, and even banking documents belonging to his second victim. Investigators from the financial brigade did not stop there, seizing his accounts for a total of 84,000 euros.
