This Sunday, July 2, Line Renaud celebrated her 95th birthday. For the occasion, the immense actress opened the doors of her sumptuous home for an exceptional evening attended by an audience of stars. Florent Pagny, who is fighting cancer, was present, but also Dany Boon, Muriel Robin, Pascal Obispo, Claude Chirac, Mimi Mathy, Julie Gayet, Stéphane Bern, Michèle Alliot-Marie, Bernard Cazeneuve, Xavier Niel, Vincent Niclo, and even , Delphine Arnault.
Nicknamed “La Jonchère”
It must be said that the property of the nonagenarian is conducive to festivities. Located on the heights of Rueil-Malmaison, in the Paris region, it is “recognizable among a thousand”. Firstly because Line Renaud has lived there for 70 years. An estate that she bought with her husband Loulou Gasté. As a reminder, her husband died in 1995. Since then, the star has lived there alone.
“With Loulou, we believed in the number 8, we decided that we would die at 88. He died at 88, for me it continues,” she confided to Le Parisien in 2018.
Nicknamed La Jonchère, the house has a breathtaking garden, enhanced by a Lebanese cedar tree measuring more than ten meters.
“It’s the first tree we planted, offered by Michel Audiard in 1952,” the actress confided in the columns of Le Parisien. Then to add, about the house, “at the time, this plot on the edge of the Saint-Cucufa woods was wasteland, no road led there, the vegetation was all-powerful and the young couple came to camp there. Today, a large and beautiful millstone house, enlarged several times, stands there.”

If Line Renaud is adored by the French, it is also thanks to her generosity in the private sphere. Indeed, the actress hosted the comedian Muriel Robin and his wife Anne Le Nen during the work on their house, located right next to hers.
