The young woman says she is “addicted to babies” and admits without any embarrassment that the family allowance system allows her to take care of her children, without working. And it must be said that being the mother of thirteen children is a full-time job. Also, every year, Cheryl Prudham receives €47,000 in family allowances. She explains: “They were created for that, why couldn’t I take advantage of them as it should be?”.

An American study carried out among hundreds of mothers has delivered an alarming conclusion. According to the results, the respondents spent 14 hours a day taking care of tasks related to being a parent.
The survey was conducted among 2,000 mothers whose children are between 5 and 12 years old. According to the results, a mother spends an average of 98 hours per week taking care of tasks related to her children. On average, days generally start at 6:23 a.m. and end at 8:31 p.m.
