2 Powerful Techniques You Can Do at Home to Remove Bleach Stains

It is common that during household chores, a few drops of bleach end up on our clothes, leaving these unfortunate white spots that can damage them.

However, before throwing them away, it is useful to know the effective methods to remove these stains and save our favorite clothes.

Method 1: Vinegar and alcohol solution

Preparation of the solution: In a container, mix 250 ml of white vinegar with 250 ml of alcohol. This combination will help neutralize and remove bleach stains.

Applying to the stain: Dampen a clean cloth with the prepared solution and apply it directly to the bleach stain, dabbing instead of rubbing. This will prevent the stain from spreading.

Rinsing: Once the solution has been applied, rinse the garment thoroughly with cold water to remove any solution residue and the stain.

Repeat the process: You may need to repeat this process several times to achieve optimal results. Persistence is the key to completely removing the bleach stain.

Method 2: Sodium thiosulfate solution

Preparation of the solution: Dissolve 1 tablespoon of sodium thiosulfate in 250 ml of water and mix well. This solution will neutralize the effects of bleach on fabrics.

Application to the stain: Dampen another clean cloth in the prepared solution and apply it directly to the bleach stains, avoiding rubbing so as not to damage the fabric.
